Visit the academy and see history come alive. Walk through the" long haul " and witness the struggle of  Coastal Georgia 's Afro-Americans. They  balance a need to farm for sustenance and  learn to read, and  write.  Follow   the academy's  role in Dr M. L.King  and Andrew  Young 's  work with the SCLC. Look up graduates of the Academy. Participate in the restoration of the Academy.
